A Premium Event Experience: Waterland Ski Incentive Kitzbühel 2024

Waterland’s premium winter incentive in Kitzbühel - combining travel management, luxury hospitality and curated experiences.

SPORTFIVE was initially commissioned as lead agency to implement a premium Hospitality program for Waterland’s international guests during UEFA EURO 2024™. Following the successful delivery of that project, the collaboration evolved further, with SPORTFIVE receiving an exclusive assignment to produce a series of global events for Waterland at additional international sports highlights.

The Challenge

The challenge was to create a seamless, high-end experience for 200 guests travelling in from 14 different European cities requires precision across every detail. The program had to balance luxury hospitality with complex travel logistics and a schedule of diverse activities, while ensuring the overall experience remained consistently premium throughout. Most importantly, the event needed to feel effortless and personal for every attendee, protecting the exclusivity of the incentive from the first arrival to the final departure.

SPORTFIVE’s goal was to deliver an unforgettable Winter Group Meeting 2024 for Waterland - an incentive designed around networking, exclusivity, and service at the highest level.


SPORTFIVE's Solution

Across a three-night, four-day program, SPORTFIVE created end-to-end travel services and on-ground event production, coordinating key touchpoints across hotels, restaurants and selected nightlife venues. The experience combined a five-star stay with curated moments on and off the slopes, including ski and snowboard lessons and a private ski race, before culminating in an awards ceremony and a closing dinner programme complemented by entertainment with live bands and a DJ. Carefully chosen locations such as the Kitzhof Hotel and Rosi’s Sonnenbergstuben helped anchor the experience in the destination while maintaining a premium, intimate feel throughout.


The Results

The result was a cohesive incentive delivered at scale, with consistent quality across the full guest journey. SPORTFIVE hosted 200 guests and coordinated more than 250 transfers, ensuring smooth movements between each programme element and maintaining the pace of the agenda across all four days. By combining premium hospitality, detailed travel management, and curated experiences in Kitzbühel, the event delivered an exclusive setting for connection and celebration, fully aligned with Waterland’s ambitions for a standout international incentive.
